Mandate

Consistent with the problem of the Local Government Code (RA 7160), the Municipal Health Office shall be primarily responsible for the provision and delivery of health services which include the implementation of program and projects on primary health care, maternal and child care, communicable and non-communicable disease control services, access to secondary and tertiary health services, purchase of medicines, medical supplies, and equipment needed to carry out such services.

A community of healthy, empowered citizen living in an diverse and sustainable environment, managed by a dynamic, competent, and responsible Local Government Unit with an ultimate goal of Universal Health Care.

Mission

A catalyst and implementor of sustainable healthcare programs that is data driven and are effectively and equitably delivered to the local populace most especialy to the vulnerable and disadvantaged people.
